Delivery Policy - Authors
Last updated 18 Sep 2026
This Delivery Policy explains what "delivery" means for authors using Article Management System, a digital service with no physical goods shipped.
For authors, "delivery" means: submission confirmation is immediate; review decisions are delivered by email and shown on your dashboard, on the venue's own timeline; payment confirmations (paid, waived, or not received) are emailed to you the moment the team records them, with a printable receipt once paid; upon acceptance, published-paper access is delivered once the venue completes its publication step, and - if the venue uses the separate Publishing platform - you first receive a proof of the final version to approve by email, your DOI is assigned once your paper's checklist (metadata, copyright, payment where applicable) is complete, and your article page (with its license, article history, citation exports, and metrics) goes live at publication; any purchased add-ons (e.g. an expedited review, if offered) are delivered as described at the time of purchase.
- All services are delivered electronically; there is no shipping and no physical delivery address is collected for that purpose.
- If a delivery (e.g. a decision notification or account provisioning) is delayed beyond what's reasonably expected, please contact the relevant conference/journal, or Technology Fist for platform-level issues.
What you receive the moment an author charge is confirmed: where a venue charges an Article Processing Charge (APC) or a Pre-Publication Processing Charge (PPC), the payment is confirmed automatically and processing starts straight away - a printable receipt is issued, your paper moves into production, a processing tracker opens on your paper page and is updated at every step, a DOI is reserved and shown to you where the venue publishes in the Technology Fist Digital Library (it is registered when the article goes live), the camera-ready format check is queued, the similarity check is queued where the venue has one configured, and a confirmation email is sent to you. Publication itself is not bought by the charge: it follows the venue's editorial workflow - your approval of the proof and the editor's publication step - and, where proceedings go to an external publisher, that publisher's own acceptance. Payments made by bank transfer are confirmed by a person on our team, so processing begins once we have confirmed the transfer.
