Screening & Community Review

Screening checks scope, completeness and integrity. It does not evaluate the science, and every preprint page says so prominently.

After posting, any signed-in platform member may write a review. Reviews carry the reviewer's real name, affiliation, ORCID and a competing-interests declaration - accountable to write, open for anyone at all to read.

The author of the preprint controls the setting: reviews held for their approval before appearing (the default), published immediately, or turned off. Authors may reply publicly to any review. A withdrawn review leaves a dated public notice in its place rather than disappearing.
