Submissions

Submissions are accepted continuously and published as soon as they are ready.

We welcome research articles, life-cycle assessments, data descriptors and methods papers. We also publish replication studies and well-documented negative results, which the field needs more of than it publishes.

Simulation-only work is in scope, but must say so plainly - in the abstract as well as the methods. Language implying measurement where none took place is the single most common reason we return a manuscript before review.
