About the Journal

The Journal of Sustainable Systems publishes research on the engineering of systems that use less - less energy, less material, less waste - without giving up what they were built to do.

Our scope spans energy systems, the circular economy, sustainable computing and infrastructure, and the measurement problems common to all of them. We are particularly interested in work that reports what was actually measured rather than what was modelled.

The journal is independent. It is hosted on the AMS platform, but its editorial board sets its own policies and makes its own decisions.
