Peer Review

Submissions are screened by an editor within a week, then sent to at least two independent reviewers. Review is single-blind: reviewers see the authors, authors do not see the reviewers.

Our median time from submission to first decision is 34 days. Where a revision is requested, the same reviewers see the revised manuscript alongside your point-by-point response.

Reviewers are asked to comment on validity, on whether the claims are supported by the evidence presented, and on reproducibility - not on perceived importance alone.
